Windows 7 RC has been released

Microsoft has released its Windows 7 RC version.

RC stands for Release Candidate, which means that windows7 is nearly ready to be released and to be bought.

Following Microsoft’s Windows 7 Blog this version of Windows 7 is faster and has more responsive performance.

And from my Windows 7 Beta experience it is faster than Vista ever will be. So I am very curious how fast this RC version will be against the Beta release.

If you want to download Windows 7 RC, you can get it in two favours:

  • 32 Bit version;
  • 64 Bit version;

Both version are available in English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish.

Well I got the both version,  so the 32-bit and the 64 bit version both of course in english.

The .iso files have the following size:

  • 32-bit is  2.4 GB in size;
  • 64-bit is  3.1 GB in size.

So both need to be burned on a DVD-Rom disc, you can do this with most burning programs in windows , Nero imgburn. In Linux you can burn the .iso files with K3B.

Here is the link where you can download your Windows7 RC copy.

Read the page and choice your version, and test it.
